The design proposal for TripAdvisor’s magazine focuses on creating a modern and sophisticated visual experience that highlights both the content and the brand’s identity.
The main goal was to develop a cutting-edge aesthetic where color and graphic elements play a crucial role in capturing the readers’ attention and reflecting the diversity and dynamism of the recommended destinations on the platform. I chose a cool color palette, with a strong contrast between black and white, to create a bold and elegant visual impact, while maintaining a sense of cleanliness and clarity.
The geometric typography was selected to add a modern touch and give the design character, always ensuring readability and ease of reading, which are key for the magazine’s target audience. This design aims to convey a high-end aesthetic inspired by the most influential fashion publications, such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, to transform the magazine into a visually appealing material aligned with the values of quality, authenticity, and discovery that TripAdvisor represents.
